Vacation!

We had a great vacation up in Glenwood Springs. If you have never seen Glenwood Canyon, I recommend it. We visited the Glenwood Caverns, took the boys on a walk where they saw a TON of trains, and even got to go whitewater rafting. It was a ton of fun, and the best vacation we have taken with the boys so far (probably having Grandma there to help is what made it so great!)

4th of July!!

This 4th of July was the most memorable to date (since having Paul and Luke.) We spent the morning in Aspen (we rode the "city bus" into the town-Paul loved it!), watching a parade (lots of motorcycles, so that was memorable for the boys.) Then headed back to Glenwood Springs (Grandma and Grandpa's "mountain house") to BBQ and hang out. The best was getting ice cream and watching fireworks. Paul and Luke LOVED them! It was great to see them experience fireworks for the first time (they DID see them when they were 4 months old, but they didn't remember.)

We just got new sheets and blankies from Grandma of all of our favorite things-things that go!! Grandma made all of them, arent' they great?! There are also some pictures of the day we decided to wash both Mommy's car, and Delilah, our crazy looking dog. She wasn't a huge fan of them. Also, just for fun, two blackmail pictures-Paul trying on Mommy's lipstick, and Luke sporting his swim diaper after swimming at Grandma's house. These are pictures Daddy takes when Mommy is busy cleaning up the kitchen or doing something else. Yes, this is Paul jumping off of their little table, AND jumping off and on the couch. Both activities frowned upon in most households, and apparently encouraged in ours! Jon wanted to document just how much Paul jumps-if it is worth getting there it is worth jumping there!!
